We used our Swiss Travel Passes to take day trips throughout Switzerland during our Untours apartment stay in Meiringen. We spent a beautiful sunny day in Spiez. The most scenic and leisurely way to reach it is by boat on beautiful Lake Thun.

We peeked out each window to enjoy the views of the mountains, vineyards, and lake.

Returning by train would have been faster, but we opted instead to dine by the boat dock and bay that has been described as one of the most beautiful in the world and catch the last cruise back.
