Appenzell: A taste of traditional Switzerland

Appenzell, in the eastern part of Switzerland, is hill country at its finest with colorfully painted wooden buildings, cows and dairy farms, and the musical sounds of yodelers, dulcimers, giant-sized cowbells, and alphorns.
